Senior Project Manager

The role of a senior project manager is to build a strong and sustainable organization of projects across their region, ensuring timely and financially viable project delivery.

This includes conceiving, planning, executing, and delivering projects with profitability in mind. The role holder will achieve objectives by establishing effective governance systems, managing project profitability, and implementing robust project management practices in the region.

A key objective of this role is to deliver projects on time, within budget, and meeting contractual timelines. Stakeholders management, including customers, vendors, and statutory bodies, is crucial in achieving success.

The role also involves responsible implementation of Health, Safety, Environment, Quality, and ESG standards & Policies, and ensuring contractual obligations are met.

Key accountabilities include:

  • Responsible for profit and loss of the project, margin, and on-time delivery.
  • Project execution: completion within budgeted cost, time, HOTO to OMS & customer.
  • Contract management: zero LD and timely contractual communications.
  • Design review mechanism with vendors to ensure project deliveries meet contractual milestones.

To succeed in this role, you need commercial orientation, project management skills, strong execution capabilities, vendor management, people leadership, and stakeholder management abilities.
