Job Title: Cloud Technical SME

The ideal candidate will act as a Cloud HCM Technical Specialist, possessing broad knowledge and deep domain expertise within the Oracle HCM Suite.

This role requires an individual contributor with the ability to interact with a global support team of functional leaders, business partners, and technical experts on day-to-day production support, enhancements, quarterly patch release testing, and issue resolution.

  • Production support project experience – understanding AMS Ticketing process (Issue Management/Problem Management/Bug-fixing/Change Management), deployment process, Upgrades testing etc.
  • Interacting with offshore and onshore client engagements involving implementation/support of Oracle HCM Cloud modules.
  • Minimum 8+ years of ERP implementation experience with 4+ years of hands-on experience with Oracle HCM functional (any two modules - Global HR, Learning, Recruiting, Talent Management, Compensation, Benefits, Payroll, OTL).
  • Cloud Technical expertise with Oracle Cloud Human Capital Management in two or more of the following modules: Core HR, OTL, Recruiting (Fusion), Learning, Benefits, Performance Management, Goals, Talent Management.
About the Role

This Cloud Technical SME role is responsible for providing technical guidance and support to our global clients. The successful candidate will have excellent problem-solving skills and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Resolving production tickets, patch testing, Change requests.
  • Requirement analysis and documentation of the respective Oracle environment including engagement with the Oracle customer, Oracle CSI partner and developer base.
  • Collaborating on configurations, bug-fixes, quarterly patch testing and quality assurance prior to change deployment of the respective Oracle environment in compliance with established standards.
  • Managing the System Admin and Security Environment of the Oracle instance as designated by role and persona; key super-permissions for the Oracle environment, patch management, POD (instance) management and provisioning, system configuration, and risk management, role / persona security management and definition, risk management, and system configuration to maintain a secure environment.
  • Performing Unit test all high level functionality including staging test scenarios and do Unit test all technical objects prior to delivery to client by documenting test results.
  • Developing runbooks for all technical objects and analyzing and resolving technical queries during tickets resolution by providing functional guidance to technical team.
Requirements
  • At least 2 full lifecycle implementations of Oracle HCM as a Technical lead and minimum one production support project experience.
  • Strong end to end experience in at least a couple of HCM modules (Core HR, Recruiting (Fusion), Benefits, Performance Management, Payroll, Goals, Absence Management, Succession Planning, HR Helpdesk, Talent Review, Onboarding (Fusion), Learning (Fusion)).
  • Willing to work on challenging production support projects.
  • Efficient and effective communication skills both written and verbal and able to comfortably engage directly with clients on detailed technical discussion.
  • Experience in working with Onshore/NSA/Offshore model.
  • Familiarity with agile methodology.
