About the Role:

Mepa2z Llp seeks an experienced Financial Administrator to join our team in a construction project-based environment. As a key member of the finance team, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, tracking expenses, and ensuring timely payments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for the construction project, including invoices, receipts, and payment vouchers.
  • Budget Monitoring & Cost Control: Monitor project budgets, track expenses, and ensure that the project stays within budget.
  • Invoice Management: Verify, process, and track incoming and outgoing invoices, ensuring timely payments and proper documentation.
  • Payroll Processing: Assist with processing payroll for site workers, ensuring accurate and timely payments while maintaining compliance with labor laws and company policies.
  • Cash Flow Management: Track daily cash flow on-site, handle petty cash, and reconcile receipts to ensure cash management is accurate and transparent.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and ad-hoc financial reports for the finance team and project managers, ensuring that all financial data is accurate and aligned with project timelines.
  • Compliance & Documentation: Ensure that all financial transactions adhere to company policies, legal requirements, and industry standards.
  • Liaison with Suppliers & Contractors: Coordinate with suppliers, contractors, and vendors to ensure payment terms are met, and invoices are processed on time.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience: Proven experience (2-4 years) in accounting or finance, ideally within a construction or project-based environment.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices, proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Aptitude: Excellent attention to detail, strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
