Senior Supply Chain System Administrator

About this role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced system administrator to join our team. As a senior system administrator, you will be responsible for ensuring the stability, performance, and availability of our Supply Chain systems.

Key responsibilities include providing proactive system administration, troubleshooting, and technical support. You will serve as the immediate technical contact for all locations that use our Supply Chain systems, handling calls and chats and documenting all interactions in our service management tool.

You will troubleshoot, resolve, and escalate issues and outages, collaborating with vendors, developers, and application administrators to determine root cause and long-term resolution.

Additionally, you will manage automation infrastructure for distribution centers, managing hubs, and ship hubs to ensure smooth and reliable operations.

Responsibilities also include responding to system alerts and using monitoring tools to proactively identify and troubleshoot issues within our Supply Chain systems.

Effective communication of technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders is essential for this role.

Standardized procedures and best practices will be applied to achieve goals, meet deadlines, and ensure consistent service delivery.

Incident documentation, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions will be developed and maintained to support knowledge sharing and future problem prevention.

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field, and at least 1-2 years of experience in systems administration, IT support, or a related role.

Proficiency with applications such as Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) or similar supply chain solutions is strongly preferred.

Familiarity with troubleshooting infrastructure and software systems in a fast-paced environment is a plus.

Basic understanding of supply chain systems and their interaction with broader business processes is required.

A solid grasp of SQL/Oracle is a bonus.

General familiarity with automation infrastructure in distribution and logistics environments is necessary.

Strong problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to translate technical details into user-friendly explanations, are essential for success in this role.

Self-motivation and thoroughness, with the ability to balance multiple priorities effectively, are also critical.
