Key Supply Chain Professional

The ideal candidate will manage end-to-end supply chain functions, ensuring zero downtime and collaborating with production, sales, and central planning teams for demand forecasting and capacity planning.

  • Production Planning & Scheduling: Align material availability with the production plan to ensure efficient operations and collaborate with cross-functional teams for strategic planning.
  • Procurement & Supplier Coordination: Ensure timely procurement of raw materials, packaging materials, and consumables and coordinate with suppliers to track purchase orders, delivery timelines, and quality compliance.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain optimal inventory levels of raw materials, WIP, and finished goods and monitor stock ageing, non-moving inventory, and initiate timely disposal or consumption plans.
  • Warehousing & Logistics: Oversee inbound and outbound logistics to ensure timely deliveries and manage warehouse operations, space utilization, and storage safety.
  • Cost & Process Optimization: Identify and implement initiatives to reduce logistics, inventory carrying, and procurement costs and drive process improvements using lean methodologies.
  • Compliance & Safety: Ensure compliance with company policies, EHS norms, and statutory regulations and conduct regular training and audits to uphold operational standards.
  • Team Leadership & Development: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing plant SCM team and foster collaboration, ownership, and continuous improvement mindset.
Requirements:
  • Graduate in Engineering / Science / Commerce (MBA or PG in Supply Chain preferred)
  • 12-20 years of relevant experience in supply chain or operations management in a manufacturing setup
  • Strong understanding of production planning, MRP, logistics, and warehousing practices
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office tools
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills
