Supply Chain Leader

As a strategic leader, the Purchasing Manager plays a vital role in driving the organization's procurement function forward. The successful candidate will lead and oversee the procurement team, ensuring timely acquisition of goods and services that meet organizational standards for cost, quality, and efficiency.

• Strategic Leadership: Lead and manage the purchasing team, providing guidance, training, and performance management to drive team success.
• Procurement Strategy: Develop and implement global procurement strategies to achieve cost savings and process efficiencies, aligning with organizational goals and objectives.
• Policy Development: Establish policies and procedures to standardize and optimize procurement operations, ensuring compliance with corporate requirements and international trade regulations.

• Supplier Management: Source, evaluate, and develop suppliers worldwide to ensure high-quality, cost-effective, and reliable supply chains.
• Negotiation and Contract Management: Negotiate complex contracts, pricing, and delivery terms with international and domestic vendors, building strong relationships and managing supplier performance.
• Performance Monitoring: Build and maintain strong supplier partnerships while monitoring performance through KPIs and regular reviews, ensuring continuous improvement.

• Operational Oversight: Oversee the creation, approval, and tracking of purchase orders, requisitions, and contracts, ensuring alignment with organizational inventory requirements and budget constraints.
• Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with Operations and Warehouse teams to forecast future supply needs, minimizing stockouts and overstocking.
• Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with corporate procurement policies and international trade regulations (import/export laws, customs, tariffs), maintaining accurate procurement records and audit-ready documentation.

• Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and present strategic purchasing reports, cost analysis, and market insights to executive management, informing business decisions and driving growth.
• Team Management: Manage and mentor a team effectively, promoting collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning.
• Global Perspective: Adaptability to dynamic environments and international time zones, with experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously.

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, International Trade, or related field.
• 7+ years of progressive procurement/purchasing experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
• Proven experience with international sourcing, supplier negotiations, and contract management.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems (SAP, NetSuite, Oracle).
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, global environment.
