Job Title: Network Architect

The primary function of this position is to ensure the seamless operation of our network infrastructure.

About This Role
  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Installation, configuration, and maintenance of various network devices and services are crucial to this role.
  • Network maintenance and system upgrades, including service packs, patches, hot fixes, and security configurations are key tasks.
  • Optimizing network performance involves monitoring performance, troubleshooting network problems, and outages.
  • Scheduling upgrades and collaborating with network architects on network optimization is essential.
  • Establishing and enforcing network policies, defining, and monitoring access ensures network system security.
  • Reporting network operational status by gathering prioritizing information, managing projects is critical.
  • Working with partners to ensure their networks are configured and maintained to support required availability levels.
  • Updating network diagrams, SOPs, and documentation is vital.

Essential Skills:

  • Hands-on experience with routing, switching, security devices, and load balancers is necessary.
  • Industry-standard devices and technologies like Cisco, Aruba, Juniper must be familiar.
  • In-depth knowledge of core Routing and Switching TCP IPv4 IPv6 protocols DNS DHCP SNMP VLAN VPN MPLS etc. is crucial.
  • Cisco wireless LAN controller deployment methods are a requirement.
  • Troubleshooting Wi-Fi issues related to connectivity, coverage, and authentication is vital.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • CCNP voice candidates are preferred for advanced roles.
  • CCNP wireless candidates are preferred for specialized positions.
