Our organization is seeking a seasoned Senior Site Reliability Engineer to join our team.

  • The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the seamless operation of various tools, including DBT Cloud, GitHub, and others.
  • We are looking for someone who can work directly with phData Provision Tool and related infrastructure tooling.
  • Key responsibilities include automating environment setup, deployments, and key rotation practices.
  • The successful candidate will also collaborate with STL and Senior Engineer to ensure smooth operations, handling AWS IAM, RSA key management, and 1Password Vault usage.
  • Additionally, the candidate should have strong technical skills in programming/scripting, networking basics, CI/CD, and Linux background.
  • We require experience in cloud native tools and technologies, including Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Familiarity with infrastructure automation tools like Terraform, application monitoring tools like Elasticsearch/Kibana, Prometheus, etc., and test automation tools like JMeter, Newman, etc., is necessary.
  • A strong understanding of DevOps practices and concepts, as well as hands-on experience with configuration automation tools like Ansible, is essential.

**Required Skills and Qualifications:**

  • 6+ years of experience in software engineering
  • Experience with chaos engineering or resilience testing
  • Experience in multi-cloud or hybrid environments
  • Ability to write clear runbooks and conduct postmortems
  • Exposure to Snowflake, FiveTran, DBT Cloud
  • Exposure to other data-intensive or distributed systems (Kafka, Cassandra, etc.)
  • Contributions to improving SRE practices (e.g., error budgets, blameless postmortems)
  • Experience with AWS
  • Experience with containerization & Orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes, Helm
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Terraform, Ansible, Cloud Formation
  • Strong Linux background
  • Thorough knowledge in DevOps practices and concepts
  • Hands on skills in CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, ArgoCD (Cloud Native CI/CD tools), etc. Hands-on experience with configuration automation tools such as Ansible
  • Team player
  • Ability to communicate effectively with different project stakeholders
