Program Management Opportunity

  • This role requires a Program Manager to support and lead program management activities, including planning, development, and delivery of software across multiple technology areas and product segments.
  • The successful candidate will work closely with test teams to commercialize drivers, PMIC, clocks, buses, peripherals, services, storage, and boot on Qualcomm chipsets.
  • A strong technical understanding of test deliverables and risk management/risk mitigation is essential for this position.
  • The Program Manager will be responsible for developing and tracking program indicators to manage program health, including quality and timelines.
  • This role requires collaboration with other functional areas to establish critical processes to support disciplined product development and decision making.
  • The Program Manager will share risk mitigation communication and status updates about the program's health with senior management.

Skill Requirements

  • Experience in wireless/semiconductors and core technologies is mandatory.
  • 10+ years of experience in a combination of software product development and program management in the semiconductor/wireless industry.
  • Proficiency in reporting and presentation tools, such as Tableau, PowerBI, MS PowerPoint, and advanced Excel.
  • Ability to manage software products through the entire development lifecycle.
  • Excellent analytical, presentation, and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with test methodologies and their integration with SDLC (Unit, Integration, System, User).
  • Understanding of budgeting, procurement, and finance processes.
  • PREFERRED EXPERIENCE IN SCRIPTING LANGUAGE PERL/Python/VBA WITH SQL.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or related field.
  • 2+ years of program management or related work experience (planning, tracking, execution, risk mitigation, communication, and status updates about the program's health to senior management).
