About the Role

  • The Senior SQL Database Administrator will design, implement, and maintain our database infrastructure.

  • Ongoing maintenance of database performance, security, and backup/recovery procedures.

  • Stay up-to-date with latest database technologies and methodologies to improve existing systems and identify opportunities for growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Database Design: Design and develop robust, scalable, and secure databases that meet business requirements.
  2. Implementation: Implement databases using various tools and technologies such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Microsoft SQL Server.
  3. Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks like backups, index tuning, and query optimization.
  4. Security: Ensure database security by implementing access controls, encryption, and auditing.
  5. Monitoring: Continuously monitor database performance and troubleshoot issues to prevent downtime.
