ESG Solutions Specialist

At our organization, we collaborate with clients to navigate the ESG path, combining expertise and tools with their goals.

We seek a skilled professional who can harmonize sustainability domain knowledge with consultative selling skills to help prospects understand how our platform addresses their most pressing challenges.

This is a high-impact, client-facing role at the intersection of sales, sustainability, and technology.

  • Lead discovery conversations with executives and sustainability leaders to comprehend their sustainability challenges.
  • Customize and deliver demos of the platform, mapping capabilities directly to identified client pain points and ESG requirements.
  • Be the sustainability domain expert in prospect conversations – capable of answering complex technical queries on ESG standards, frameworks, carbon accounting, compliance, and assurance.
  • Prepare solution proposals and decks post-demo that outline how our platform addresses client challenges, including solution design, value articulation, and next steps.
  • Nurture partially qualified prospects through thought leadership, peer analysis, case studies, and ROI calculations.
  • Partner closely with Sales, Marketing, Delivery, and Product teams to ensure consistency of message and teamwork to win and retain business.

As a successful candidate, you have:

  • 3–6 years of experience in ESG consulting, sustainability advisory, or pre-sales for an ESG software product.
  • Strong familiarity with sustainability frameworks, reporting standards, and assurance practices (GRI, SASB, CDP, TCFD).
  • Proven experience conducting client discovery, building business cases, and delivering demos in enterprise B2B environments.
  • Excellent storytelling skills – able to translate technical ESG and compliance requirements into business impact.
  • Comfort with preparing solution documents, proposals, and ROI models that resonate with CFOs, CSOs, and board-level stakeholders.
  • Strong research and analytical skills to prepare peer benchmarking and market insights.
  • A consultative, client-first mindset with the ability to build trust and credibility quickly.
  • Bonus: Experience with ESG software platforms, SaaS workflows, or carbon accounting tools.
