Chief Risk Officer

The primary objective of this role is to identify, assess, and mitigate risks that could impact the organization's operational resilience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Risk Identification & Register Maintenance
  • Identify potential risks across operations and projects, and maintain a comprehensive risk register with severity, likelihood, and mitigation strategies.
  • Monitor & Evaluate Risk Plans
  • Assess the effectiveness of current risk management strategies and recommend improvements for adaptability and efficiency.
  • Conduct Investigations & Assessments
  • Perform in-depth analysis to uncover vulnerabilities and use findings to shape robust risk mitigation strategies.
  • Develop Contingency Plans
  • Create actionable backup plans to minimize impact from unforeseen events and ensure preparedness and control.
  • Reporting & Stakeholder Communication
  • Prepare clear, concise reports on risk processes and outcomes, and engage stakeholders in informed decision-making.
  • Ensure Regulatory Compliance
  • Align risk frameworks with legal and regulatory standards to support organizational stability and reputation.

Key Success Factors: Proactive risk identification, detailed assessments, adaptive planning, strong contingency strategies, clear communication, and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Education: CA / MBA with 5–10 years of experience
  • Desirable: PMP Certification
  • Experience:
  • Plant/Manufacturing environment
  • Defence business exposure
  • SAP environment (preferred)
