About the Position
  • As a Lead Database Developer, you will oversee the design, development, and maintenance of high-performance databases using Oracle and PostgreSQL.
  • You will collaborate with the development team to design and implement efficient database structures that meet our organization's requirements.
  • Developing and maintaining database schemas, tables, views, stored procedures, and functions will be your key responsibilities.

  • Data Security and Integrity

  • Database Documentation and Reporting
  • Database Backup, Recovery, and Disaster Planning
  • Collaboration and Support

Requirements:

  • A bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field is required, or equivalent experience.
  • At least 8 years of experience in Oracle database environments and PostgreSQL are essential.
  • A strong understanding of relational database concepts, data security, backup, and recovery procedures is necessary.
  • Experience in system analysis and design, problem-solving, support, and troubleshooting is crucial.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • An in-depth understanding of database architecture and data modeling principles is preferred.
  • Good knowledge of No-SQL database solutions, AWS, and Azure Db solutions and services is beneficial.
