Senior Risk Management Professional

Job Overview:

  • We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Risk Management Professional to lead our Enterprise Risk Management function.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Risk Mitigation and Compliance: Design, implement, and maintain a robust Enterprise Risk Management framework across the organization to ensure effective risk mitigation and compliance.
  • Internal Control Systems: Develop and implement internal control systems to mitigate risks and improve business processes.
  • Control Weaknesses and Deficiencies: Identify, evaluate, and document control weaknesses and deficiencies; develop recommendations for risk mitigation and improvement.
  • Risk Registers: Prepare and maintain Risk Registers (RCSA) to track and manage risks effectively.
  • Business Process Reviews: Conduct regular reviews of business processes, identify control gaps, and develop recommendations for risk mitigation and improvement.
  • Enterprise Risk Policy: Update the Enterprise Risk Policy to reflect best practices and accommodate changing regulatory and strategic scenarios.
  • Principal Risk Owners: Assist Principal Risk Owners in identifying key risks, mitigating controls, and action plans to address gaps in mitigating measures.
  • Reporting: Prepare reports for the Risk Committee, Executive Management Team, and Board Committees.
  • Risk Reporting Framework: Develop an integrated risk reporting framework to focus attention on critical risks.

Educational Qualifications:

  • A graduate degree in finance, management, or risk management from a reputable institution. FRM, CFA, CBCP certifications are preferred.

Experience:

  • 4-8 years of experience in a similar role with a strong understanding of exchange ecosystem and operations.

Functional Competencies:

  • Principles of risk management.
  • Strong knowledge of risk identification, assessment, and management frameworks.
  • Ability to design and evaluate effectiveness of controls embedded within business processes.
  • Knowledge of risk and governance standards such as COSO framework and Basel Corporate Governance Principles.

Skills Required:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
