The role of Senior Biostatistician is pivotal in spearheading statistical strategies and deliverables in support of clinical trials.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leads biostatistics efforts for assigned studies and projects, driving study design discussions and protocol development.
  • Authors and reviews Statistical Analysis Plans (SAPs), encompassing mock tables, figures, and listings, to ensure high-quality deliverables.
  • Oversees the execution of statistical analyses per SAP, collaborating with programming and CRO partners.
  • Provides statistical leadership in vendor oversight, directing statistical programming activities and managing deliverables.

Maintenance of Statistical Standards and Knowledge

  • Remains current with emerging statistical methodologies and evolving clinical trial practices.
  • Possesses a good understanding of CDISC Standards, including SDTM, ADaM.
  • Delivers statistical presentations to internal and external stakeholders, or regulatory authorities as needed.
Requirements
  • Master's degree or PhD in Biostatistics, Statistics, or a related quantitative field, required.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in clinical trial biostatistics for MS-level candidates; Minimum 6 years for PhD-level candidates.
  • Proficiency in statistical programming in SAS, R, and other programming languages preferred.
  • A solid understanding of statistical methodologies and clinical trial designs.
