Flexremote is our business recruiting for 100% remote roles based in Philippines for one of our top Australian Clients. You will work directly for our client but also join a rapidly growing community of more than 150 professionals across SE Asia.

About our client: They have been supporting the mining industry for half a century with their vast rental fleet of around 1,000 pieces of equipment backed by a network of maintenance and component rebuilding workshops across Australia.

The ideal candidate will design, develop, and maintain solutions using Microsoft Power Platform and SharePoint to automate processes and enhance business efficiency.

This role focuses on leading Power App development, managing software development contractors, and maintaining existing Power Platform applications and workflows.

Responsibilities include gathering business requirements, designing effective solutions, and implementing best practices as a trusted technology advisor to the business.

You will play a crucial role in leveraging the Power Platform to drive digital transformation and deliver organizational improvement.

This is a full-time contractual role with an ASAP start, working 9 am to 5 pm in Perth time zone.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and implement applications using Microsoft Power Apps to automate business processes and improve operational efficiency
  • Oversee and manage software development contractors to ensure project deliverables are met on time and within budget
  • Create and maintain workflows and forms to streamline business processes across various departments
  • Maintain and enhance SharePoint sites, lists, and libraries including site architecture, security, and governance
  • Maintain and enhance existing Power Platform applications and workflows to ensure they meet evolving business requirements

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Microsoft Power Platform certifications preferred (PL-100, PL-200, or PL-400)
  • Microsoft 365 Certified: Teams Application Developer Associate certification a plus

Technical Skills, Competencies, and Experience:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience developing Microsoft Power Platform solutions in a business environment
  • Strong proficiency in Power Apps (canvas and model-driven), Power Automate, and Microsoft Forms
  • Advanced knowledge of SharePoint Online administration and customization
  • Experience with data integration, including APIs, REST services, and SQL
