Our client is a mining operations' support giant. For half a century, they have been supporting the mining industry with their vast rental fleet - around 1,000 pieces of equipment backed by a network of maintenance and component rebuilding workshops across Australia.

About the role:

Our client is seeking a skilled

Microsoft Power Platform Developer/Engineer

to join our team. This role focuses on designing, developing, and maintaining solutions using Microsoft Power Platform and SharePoint to automate processes and enhance business efficiency. The ideal candidate will lead Power App development, manage software development contractors, and both maintain and enhance existing Power Platform applications and workflows. Responsibilities include gathering business requirements, designing effective solutions, and implementing best practices. As a trusted technology advisor to the business, you will play a crucial role in leveraging the Power Platform to drive digital transformation and deliver organizational improvement.

This is a FULL-TIME contractual role, with ASAP start, and you will be working 9 am to 5 pm in Perth time zone.

The salary for this role is ranging

2000 - 3000 AUD (110K – 160K INR) per month

and the minimum experience required is

"3 years"

in a similar capacity.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

Power App Development:

Design, develop, and implement applications using Microsoft Power Apps to automate business processes and improve operational efficiency
Contractor Management:

Oversee and manage software development contractors to ensure project deliverables are met on time and within budget
Power Automate & Microsoft Forms: Create

and maintain workflows and forms to streamline business processes across various departments
SharePoint Management:

Maintain and enhance SharePoint sites, lists, and libraries including site architecture, security, and governance
Application Maintenance:

Maintain and enhance existing Power Platform applications and workflows to ensure they meet evolving business requirements
User Requirements Gathering: Collaborate

with business stakeholders to gather and document user requirements
Solution Design:

Design and propose solutions that leverage the Power Platform and/or other applications to address business needs effectively
Integration:

Integrate Power Platform solutions with other business systems and external data sources as required

Training and Support:

Provide training and support to end-users on Power Platform applications
Documentation:

Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for solutions, including technical specifications, user guides, and training materials
Stay Updated:

Keep abreast of the latest features and updates in the Power Platform ecosystem and incorporate new features when beneficial

EDUCATIONAL AND TECHNICAL QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
Microsoft Power Platform certifications preferred (PL-100, PL-200, or PL-400)
Microsoft 365 Certified: Teams Application Developer Associate certification a plus

TECHNICAL SKILLS, COMPETENCIES AND EXPERIENCE

Minimum

3 years of experience

developing Microsoft Power Platform solutions in a business environment
Strong proficiency in Power Apps (canvas and model-driven), Power Automate, and Microsoft Forms
Advanced knowledge of SharePoint Online administration and customization
Experience with data integration, including APIs, REST services, and SQL
Proficiency in Microsoft 365 suite and its integration capabilities
Experience with SharePoint Framework (SPFx) development
Familiarity with Azure services that complement the Power Platform
Experience gathering business requirements and translating them into technical solutions
Strong documentation skills for both technical and end-user materials
Experience training non-technical users on custom business applications
Strong sense of curiosity
Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously
Knowledge of Power BI for reporting and dashboard creation
Strong understanding of data modeling and database design principles
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to simplify complex concepts
