OT Security Professional Job Description

This is a unique opportunity to take on a challenging role as an OT security professional. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing the security posture of industrial networks, including ICS, SCADA, and related systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Security Management:
  • Manage the overall security strategy for our operational technology environments.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure the security of our industrial control systems.
  • Conduct regular risk assessments and vulnerability analyses to identify potential threats.
  • Incident Response & Threat Management:
  • Support incident response activities, including threat detection, analysis, containment, and recovery.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to address cross-domain threats and vulnerabilities.
  • Monitor network traffic for signs of anomalous activity using security tools and technologies.
  • Security Architecture & Compliance:
  • Assist in designing secure OT network architectures, segmentation strategies, and security controls.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations such as NIST, IEC 62443, ISA/IEC 27001.
  • Project & Team Coordination:
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to implement security solutions.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
  • Support security audits, assessments, and regulatory inspections.
  • Continuous Improvement:
  • Stay up-to-date on emerging OT cybersecurity threats, technologies, and best practices.
  • Recommend security enhancements, upgrades, and new tools to improve OT security resilience.
