Key Responsibilities:

  • Design scalable infrastructure solutions
  • Evaluate and implement new technologies to improve performance
  • Lead projects across networking, servers, storage, and cloud
  • Develop expertise in Windows/Linux environments, virtualization, and backup/recovery systems
  • Provide mentorship to engineers and support teams
  • Ensure high availability of core infrastructure services
  • Define configuration standards, patching cycles, and disaster recovery strategies
  • Oversee incident and problem resolution for infrastructure issues
  • Collaborate with application, security, and network teams on integrated solutions

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field
  • 10-12 years of experience in IT infrastructure
  • Strong problem-solving skills and analysis skills
  • Effective communicator with technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong documentation and process adherence
  • Expertise in Windows Server, Linux (RHEL/CentOS/Ubuntu)
  • Virtualization: VMware vSphere, Hyper-V
  • Cloud: AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
  • Networking: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, firewalls, VPNs
  • Storage & Backup: SAN/NAS, Veeam, NetBackup, Commvault
  • Automation/Scripting: PowerShell, Python, Bash
