Job Title: Technical Design Professional
Role Overview:
As a skilled Technical Design Professional, you will play a vital role in designing and preparing working drawings for HVAC systems in commercial and light industrial buildings. Your primary responsibility will be to deliver high-quality designs that meet the required standards and productivity norms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design accurate HVAC working drawings per project specifications.
- Collaborate with civil, architectural, electrical, plumbing, and fire-fighting teams to ensure seamless coordination.
- Resolve technical issues with site teams and provide effective solutions.
- Manage ISO documentation and drawing logs efficiently.
- Support quantity take-offs and drawing approvals processes.
- Monitor productivity and assist in QA/QC procedures.
- Identify additional work requirements and notify the Project Manager accordingly.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong HVAC design knowledge, including chillers, AHUs, VAVs, FCUs, ventilation, and smoke control.
- Familiarity with GCC codes and Civil Defence regulations.
- Proficiency in HVAC calculations and software, such as HAP.
- Knowledge of Revit and Navisworks is an advantage.
- Excellent communication, coordination, and documentation skills.
- Understanding of related MEP systems.
Education:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- HVAC training certification is highly preferred.
