Job Overview:

The Senior Systems Engineer role involves providing advanced technical leadership and systems engineering management for the design, development, and integration of complex hardware and software systems.

  • Lead and guide technical teams in requirements decomposition, system design, development, and integration efforts.
  • Tackle complex issues using advanced analysis and problem-solving skills.
  • Serve as a technical consultant and project/program-level subject matter expert, advising internal teams and customers on complex matters.
  • Act as a liaison with customers and external partners, providing technical direction, influencing solution strategies, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Mentor junior team members, fostering technical growth and leadership development within the engineering team.
  • Lead risk assessments, trade studies, and system modeling to support decision-making and ensure that technical risks are mitigated throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Develop relationships with key partners, ensuring effective collaboration and communication to meet project objectives.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience working in a software driven technology environment
  • 5 years of experience working with engineering projects involving complex systems
  • Familiarity with Software Development Life Cycles using both Waterfall and Agile approaches
