Job Opportunity: Virtual Desktop Infrastructure Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) specialist to join our team. As a VDI specialist, you will be responsible for providing technical support to clients, administering and maintaining complex virtual desktop infrastructure environments, and resolving problems on various platforms.

About the Role
  • This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong technical skills, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide Tier-2/3 technical support to clients via phone, email, or in-person, ensuring timely resolution of issues and high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Administer, maintain, and support Citrix/AVD/Azure virtual desktop environments, ensuring seamless user experience and optimal performance.
  • Identify, analyze, and resolve problems on VDI platforms, including VMware vSphere operational tasks, leveraging your expertise and knowledge to find effective solutions.
  • Perform root cause analysis for issues and provide workarounds to ensure business continuity, minimizing downtime and impact on operations.
  • Utilize technology tools and procedures to respond and resolve internal and external customer issues, ensuring efficient and effective issue resolution.
  • Create and maintain client technical documentation, facilitating easy access to relevant information and reducing support requests.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 8+ years of related experience with Citrix/AVD/Azure Virtual Desktop, with a strong understanding of virtualization platform hardware and software.
  • Experience with managed services or consulting is highly desirable, as is a proven track record of delivering exceptional results in similar roles.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with all levels of business and stakeholders.
