Job Title: Virtual Desktop Engineer - Azure AVD Expert

At our company, we are seeking a highly skilled Virtual Desktop Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing, implementing, and managing virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI) solutions using Microsoft Azure Active Directory (Azure AD) and Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD).

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Design and implement VDI solutions that meet business requirements and ensure high availability and reliability.
  2. Manage Azure AD and AVD to provide secure access to virtual desktops and applications.
  3. Analyze system performance indicators and recommend improvement actions to optimize VDI performance.
  4. Deploy updates and patches to virtual desktops and servers using Azure Update Manager.
  5. Create and manage scripts to automate tasks such as upgradation/migration, remediation, jobs, and report tasks.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 10+ years of related experience in VDI engineering.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of Microsoft Azure ecosystem and Azure Virtual Desktop Solution.
  • Good hands-on experience in automating upgradation/migration, remediation, jobs, and report tasks by creating PowerShell CLI scripts and PowerShell and Batch scripts.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
