Senior Associate

We are seeking an experienced and skilled professional to join our team as a Senior Associate.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct in-depth research and analysis of legal provisions related to GST.
  • Draft advises, opinions, and compliance reports for clients.
  • Prepare PowerPoint presentations for client meetings, trainings, and seminars.
  • Analyse client data to estimate tax impact on business transactions.
  • Build scenarios to identify the most tax-efficient business model.
  • Contribute to the development of articles, monographs, and other publications.
  • Deliver exceptional client service, proactively identifying and discussing technical issues with clients while ensuring firm risk management.
  • Handle tax matters, including preparation of submissions, replies to notices, appeals, and representation during appeals.
  • Manage multiple client relationships, assuming near-independent responsibility for smaller clients.
  • Develop commercial acumen and stay up-to-date with firm-wide and competitor activities.

Networking and Opportunity Identification:

  • Identify new opportunities for existing clients and communicate with managers.
  • Network within the peer group and other levels in the firm to gain understanding of issues impacting clients.
  • Compile legal databases and contribute to study sessions, staying updated with latest legal developments.
  • Mentor Associates and guide them on their working practices.

Preferred Candidate Profile: Candidates with shorter notice periods are preferred.
