Senior Fabrication Director">

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Fabrication Director to lead our fabrication activities across multiple units. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of structural, pressure vessel, or equipment fabrication and be able to develop and implement fabrication strategies aligned with production plans and customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and Manage Fabrication Operations: Oversee the end-to-end fabrication process, ensuring adherence to quality standards, safety regulations, and timely project completion.
  • Develop Fabrication Strategies: Create and implement fabrication plans aligned with production goals and customer needs.
  • Collaborate with Departments: Work closely with design, procurement, planning, and quality departments for seamless execution.
  • Monitor Key Performance Indicators: Track daily, weekly, and monthly productivity, utilization, rejection rates, and other key performance indicators.
  • Drive Process Improvements: Identify areas for improvement and implement automation, lean manufacturing practices, and process enhancements.
  • Mentor Team Members: Identify skill gaps and provide training to enhance team performance.
  • Manage Documentation: Maintain accurate records, reports, and ensure audit readiness.
  • Oversee Subcontracting Activities: Manage subcontracting tasks and vendor performance as needed.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering: Minimum educational requirement.
  • Proven Experience in Fabrication: Strong background in structural, pressure vessel, or equipment fabrication.
  • Welding Techniques and Materials: Excellent understanding of welding techniques, materials, codes, and standards.
  • Fabrication Software/Tools: Familiarity with ERP systems, fabrication software/tools, and production planning systems.
