Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) professional to support the execution of oil & gas projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HSE management and a passion for promoting a safety-first culture across all project phases.

The selected individual will be responsible for leading a team of HSE personnel and implementing robust HSE Management Systems to ensure compliance with legislative requirements.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement HSE plans, welfare plans, emergency response procedures/plans and site specific HSE procedures/work instructions.
  • Conduct training/awareness sessions on relevant HSE procedures applicable to the project scope.
  • Investigate incidents, identify immediate and root causes, and develop corrective actions.
  • Maintain accurate records of HSE metrics, including incident reports and audit findings.
Required Qualifications
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Science or a related field.
  • A minimum of 8-10 years' experience in HSE in construction, fabrication, installation and/or commissioning projects/operations in the oil and gas petrochemical industries.
  • NEBOSH IGC or equivalent certificate.
  • Lead Auditor ISO 45001/ISO 14001 or equivalent certifications.
  • Incident Investigation Techniques certificate.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead a team and work effectively with stakeholders.
