International Relations Strategist

About the Role:

We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead our international engagement efforts and position our organisation as a premier representative of Indian industry in the global arena.

This role requires strategic leadership, influencing policy, fostering partnerships, and enhancing trade and investment opportunities in alignment with national economic priorities.

  • Develop and implement an effective international strategy to drive India's global economic influence.
  • Build and sustain relationships with foreign governments, multilateral organisations, and global chambers to advance trade and investment opportunities.
  • Promote market access, investment facilitation, and international business cooperation to deliver tangible outcomes for Indian industry.
  • Ensure global engagements reinforce India's domestic economic and policy objectives.
Key Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A Master's degree in International Relations, Public Policy, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field. A PhD or equivalent international policy experience is preferred.
  • A minimum of 25-30 years of progressive leadership experience in trade, diplomacy, global economic policy, or senior roles in government/industry bodies with extensive international exposure.

  • Excellent public speaking and cross-cultural communication skills.
  • High credibility, gravitas, and ability to influence global economic policy.
