Job Title: Strategic Liaison Officer

This is a pivotal role that entails engaging with government and industry leaders to influence policy and advance business objectives.

  • The ideal candidate will possess expertise in interacting with senior officials, building meaningful relationships, and driving collaborative outcomes.
  • A proven track record of handling media during crises and proactively mitigating risks is essential for this position.
  • The successful candidate will have an intimate understanding of land procurement, labor standards, and the socio-political landscape of Vijayawada / Andhra Pradesh.
  • Developing and executing data-driven public affairs strategies is critical to success in this role.
  • Leading a team and influencing stakeholders within a complex matrix organization are key aspects of this position.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead regular interactions with government officials to ensure a favorable policy environment for operations.
  2. Monitor and ensure adherence to environmental clearances, labor law compliance, land use permissions, and industrial licensing requirements specific to Andhra Pradesh.
  3. Develop and execute crisis communication protocols; serve as primary media spokesperson during sensitive situations.
  4. Track policy developments affecting the steel/manufacturing sector; prepare position papers and advocacy strategies.
  5. Lead land acquisition processes, liaison with revenue officials, and coordinate with legal teams on property-related matters.
