Digital Circuit Design Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Digital Circuit Design Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring the design and implementation of digital circuits meet strict quality and reliability standards.

  • Interface with cross-functional teams to develop and test manufacturing test patterns, verify MBIST coverage, and resolve post-silicon debug issues.
  • Generate high-quality manufacturing ATPG test patterns for stuck-at (SAF) and transition fault (TDF) models using on-chip test compression techniques.
  • Perform MBIST verification (including repair), test pattern generation through Mentor tool.
  • Conduct ATPG (SAF, TDF) and MBIST verification using unit delay and min/max timing corner simulations.
  • Collaborate with Product/Test engineering teams on delivering manufacturing test patterns for ATE.
  • Support post-silicon debug effort, issue resolution.
  • Develop Diagnostic Tool generation for ATPG, MBIST, and bring-up on ATE.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering.
  • Minimum of 4-12 years' experience in ASIC/DFT - simulation and Silicon validation.
  • Experience in Full chip DFT is required.
  • Detailed knowledge of DFT concepts, pattern simulation, Silicon debug, and yield enhancement.
  • In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience in ATPG - coverage analysis.
  • Knowledge of Memory verification, repair, and failure root-cause analysis.
  • Experience with tools such as ATPG - TestKompress, MBIST - MentorETVerify, Simulation - VCS, ModelSim.
  • Expertise in scripting languages like Perl, shell, etc.
  • Ability to work in an international team, dynamic environment with good communication skills.
  • Ability to learn and adapt to new tools, methodologies.
  • Ability to multitask and work on several high-priority designs in parallel.
