Procurement Expert Sought

We are looking for a skilled professional with extensive experience in Oracle Fusion SCM/Procurement modules to fill this key role.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing, configuring, and supporting Oracle Fusion SCM/Procurement modules, as well as conducting end-to-end testing with all integration systems. This position requires strong technical skills, problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Main Responsibilities
  • Hands-On Expertise in Procurement Modules
  • Lead business process workshops and advise clients on the impacts of adopting the Oracle Cloud solution
  • Expert-level knowledge in Oracle Fusion Cloud Application SCM Modules - Procurement, Supplier Portal
  • Experience in Sourcing, Purchasing, Supplier Management, Procurement Contracts, Procurement Analytics, Self-Service Procurement
  • Developing and implementing sourcing strategies to identify potential suppliers and vendors
  • Experience in Redwood Pages is a must
  • Conducting market research to understand trends and pricing
  • Evaluating supplier proposals and selecting the best options based on quality, cost, and delivery
  • Negotiating contracts and pricing terms with suppliers
  • Managing the purchase order process and ensuring timely delivery of goods and services
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with key suppliers
  • Monitoring supplier performance and ensuring compliance with contracts
  • Addressing any issues or disputes with suppliers
  • Developing and implementing procurement policies and procedures
  • Collaborating with other departments to understand their needs and requirements
  • Preparing procurement reports and providing updates to management
  • Analyzing current supply chain processes and identifying opportunities for improvement using Oracle Fusion SCM solutions
  • Leading the implementation of Oracle Fusion SCM modules, including setup, configuration, and customization
  • Developing and executing testing plans to ensure the solution meets the client's requirements
  • Experience in OTBI and Dashboard is a must
  • Having at least 2 end-to-end implementation experiences in Fusion Procurement is a must
  • Conducting data migration and integration with other systems as needed
  • Supporting the client during all phases of testing, production cutover, and post-go-live
  • Assisting the integration consulting team in helping to build, configure, and test integrations between Procurement and third-party/custom solutions
  • Collaborating with technical teams and providing end-to-end solutions
Required Skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Finance, or a related field
  • 8+ years of experience as a Functional Consultant in Oracle Fusion SCM/procurement modules
  • Hands-on experience with at least 3 or more SCM/procurement modules
  • Strong understanding of SCM/procurement best practices
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
Preferred Qualifications
  • Oracle Cloud SCM Certification
  • Experience with Oracle Cloud quarterly updates and release management
  • Knowledge of BIP reporting
  • Experience devising procurement strategies or managing procurement budgets
  • Knowledge of end-to-end implementation of finance modules will add an advantage
