Job Overview:

  • The ideal candidate will develop and implement cutting-edge Infor XA solutions for clients, utilizing expertise in Synon code development tool, Control Language, OS/400 commands, RPG, CL, ILE, SQLRPGLE, SQL/400, Query/400, DB2/400, DFU, IBM job Schedulers/ROBOT, Debugging concepts, and other AS/400 utilities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate functional specifications into design, develop, and document technical solutions, ensuring seamless integration and delivery.
  • Provide expert-level support for ERP XA 9.2 users, addressing queries/issues across all ERP XA modules, and resolving complex problems efficiently.
  • Manage daily application health, including system uptime, responsiveness, break/fix issues, and approved requests, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum productivity.
  • Develop and test customizations, suggesting corrections/improvements, and possessing expertise with SQL queries and performance fine-tuning, resulting in enhanced system performance and efficiency.
  • Leverage knowledge of IDF framework, COM, Inventory management, Purchasing, Production monitoring and control, Master scheduling, MRP, Ecommerce, supply chain, and manufacturing execution, driving business growth and success.
  • Possessing a strong understanding of Infor IFM AP/AR/GL is a plus, as well as implementation experience, allowing for effective solution implementation and optimization.
  • Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills, including technical writing and customer interaction, fostering collaborative relationships and successful project outcomes.
  • Utilize strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills, and possess the ability to coach and mentor other developers and analysts, promoting knowledge sharing and skill development.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Expertise in Infor XA, Synon code development tool, Control Language, OS/400 commands, RPG, CL, ILE, SQLRPGLE, SQL/400, Query/400, DB2/400, DFU, IBM job Schedulers/ROBOT, Debugging concepts, and other AS/400 utilities.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including technical writing and customer interaction.
  • Able to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Familiarity with IDF framework, COM, Inventory management, Purchasing, Production monitoring and control, Master scheduling, MRP, Ecommerce, supply chain, and manufacturing execution.
  • Proficiency in English, with proficiency in additional languages an asset.
