Job Overview

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring timely delivery of materials to our construction sites while staying within budget. You will partner with our HO SCM team and local vendors to achieve flawless procurement and logistics.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Procure site-level civil items locally within approved budget limits.
  2. Coordinate with the Project Manager to ensure timely material availability in accordance with the construction schedule
  3. Align with the HO SCM team on procurement status, vendor approvals, and project SCM deliverables.
  4. Maintain vendor database at the local level for civil items and consumables.
  5. Ensure procurement follows company policies, compliance, and quality standards.
  6. Monitor and report material inflow/outflow, consumption, and stock levels.
  7. Support material reconciliation for civil items during and after project execution.
  8. Coordinate with logistics for safe and timely transportation of materials to the site.
  9. Prepare and maintain documentation (POs, GRNs, invoices, vendor records, local contracts).
  10. Assist in resolving material shortages, delays, or quality issues at the site in coordination with HO SCM.
  11. Independently manage multiple vendors/contractors to negotiate prices & close work orders at the site level.

Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of civil construction materials and consumables.
  • Understanding of local procurement practices and vendor management.
  • Familiarity with procurement documentation (POs, GRN, invoices).
  • Good coordination and negotiation skills for vendor interaction.
  • Ability to work closely with the site team and HO SCM under tight timelines.
  • B.E./Diploma in Civil Engineering OR Graduate with relevant SCM/procurement experience.
  • 5–8 years of experience in procurement/supply chain of construction/renewable/industrial projects.
