Job Description

The primary responsibility of the Supply Chain Program Manager is to oversee and execute supply chain strategies across various levels of the organization. This involves coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of product roadmaps, technology roadmaps, and supply chain strategies.

  • Developing processes to evaluate business decisions against risks related to the supply chain is a critical component of this role.
  • Manages and performs costed BOM risk analysis, identifying and validating risk parts driving resolution or developing mitigation plans for all X and 1 rated components prior to FCS (First Customer Shipment).

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing supplier performance and team expectations by proactively driving suppliers to meet or exceed committed performance to increase contribution and capability through relationships and trust with vendors/partners.
  • Assess risks associated with relevant commodity technologies and develop contingency plans accordingly.
  • Lead cross-functional, global teams to accomplish goals and objectives while maintaining open communication with internal stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with contract manufacturers to optimize material supply, delivery, and quality.
  • Utilize data-driven insights to identify opportunities for cost reduction in other areas of the business.
  • Implement industry best-practices and innovative improvements for improving the global materials process.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Experience in supply chain management, including program management, negotiation, and influencing.
  • Strong facilitation and people skills, proven ability to lead groups.
  • Ability to think strategically and communicate effectively with internal stakeholders.
  • Excellent organizational skills and proven follow-through on actions and activities.
  • Hands-on experience in supply chain, including demand planning, supplier management, and materials purchasing.
