Job Title: Cloud Database Administrator

We are looking for a skilled and enthusiastic Cloud Database Administrator to join our team.

This role is ideal for candidates passionate about database technologies and cloud infrastructure, eager to grow in a fast-paced environment.

  • Assist in provisioning, configuring, and maintaining cloud-hosted databases.
  • Monitor database performance and availability using cloud-native tools.
  • Ensure data security, backup, and recovery processes are implemented and adhered to.
  • Support migration of databases to the cloud from on-premises systems.
  • Assist in creating users, roles, and permission policies for database access.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Basic understanding of SQL and relational database concepts.
  • Familiarity with at least one cloud platform (AWS / Azure / GCP) and their database offerings.
  • Knowledge of database backup, restore, and disaster recovery fundamentals.
  • Awareness of database security best practices.
  • Good problem-solving skills and eagerness to learn.

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field is required.

Certifications in cloud computing will be an added advantage.
