Oracle Database Expert Wanted

We are seeking an experienced Oracle Database Team Lead to fill this key position. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Oracle database architecture and a strong track record of resolving performance issues.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team of database administrators, ensuring the smooth operation of our Oracle databases, and driving process improvements to enhance efficiency and scalability.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Database Architecture Expertise: In-depth knowledge of Oracle database architecture, including installation, configuration, and management.
  • Team Leadership: Experience in leading a team of database administrators, providing guidance, and ensuring they have the necessary skills to perform their duties effectively.
  • Performance Optimization: Strong ability to identify and resolve performance issues, optimize database queries, and ensure data integrity.
  • Database Backup and Recovery: Expertise in backing up and recovering Oracle databases, ensuring minimal downtime and data loss.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including development, storage administrators, network administrators, system administrators, and business users.
Qualifications:
  • Experience: 18+ years of experience in Oracle database administration, with at least 5 years in a team lead role.
  • Domain Expertise: Proven experience working in Telecom or BFSI industries.

Candidates should possess strong problem-solving skills, be able to work under pressure in a production environment, and have excellent problem-solving skills.

Required Skills:
  • Mandatory Skills: RAC (installation, upgradation, and management), database backup and recovery, DB migration, and performance tuning.
