Job Title: Oracle Database ArchitectWe are seeking an experienced Oracle Database Architect to join our team. As a key member of our database administration team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining high-performance Oracle databases in mission-critical environments.The ideal candidate will have 5-8 years of experience working with Oracle databases, with a strong background in database architecture, performance tuning, and security. You will work closely with our development teams to ensure that our databases meet the needs of our business.Key Responsibilities:
  • Database Design and Implementation: Design, implement, and maintain high-performance Oracle databases in mission-critical environments.
  • Performance Tuning: Proactively monitor database health and availability using OEM and custom monitoring scripts, and perform advanced SQL query tuning, indexing strategies, and optimizer statistics management.
  • Security: Ensure the security and integrity of our databases by implementing robust security measures, including access controls, data encryption, and auditing.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with development teams to ensure that our databases meet the needs of our business.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering (Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related).
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience as an Oracle DBA in mission-critical environments.
  • Skills: Strong expertise in Oracle 12c/19c database administration, RAC, Data Guard, ASM, OEM, RMAN, Data Pump, SQL & PL/SQL development, performance tuning and troubleshooting (AWR, ASH, ADDM), Linux/Unix administration and shell scripting.
Preferred Skills:
  • NoSQL Databases: Exposure to NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Cassandra) or Big Data ecosystems (Hadoop, Spark).
  • Fintech Experience: Prior experience in fintech, banking, or lending domain.
  • Replication Solutions: Knowledge of GoldenGate or advanced replication solutions.
  • Kubernetes: Familiarity with Kubernetes and containerized database deployments.
