Junior Accounting Professional

A junior accounting professional is a foundational role that forms the backbone of our financial operations. This position requires an individual to handle a variety of accounting tasks to support the company's financial health.

Responsibilities:

  • Financial Reporting: Assist in preparing and maintaining accurate and timely financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.

  • Data Entry: Enter financial data into our accounting system with high accuracy and efficiency.

  • Accounts Management: Maintain accounts receivable and accounts payable, ensuring timely payment of invoices and adherence to financial policies.

  • Payroll: Prepare payroll calculations and process monthly payroll with precision.

  • Expense Tracking: Monitor and track company expenses, such as payroll and petty cash, to ensure financial transparency and compliance.

  • Bank Account Management: Create payment orders, maintain bank balances, and supervise bank accounts to optimize financial performance.

  • Financial Statement Analysis: Analyze financial statements to identify trends and areas for improvement, preparing detailed balance sheets as needed.

  • Journal Entries: Post journal entries accurately and efficiently to maintain financial records.

  • Administrative Tasks: Assist with daily administrative tasks, such as processing invoices and ad-hoc requests, to ensure seamless operation.

  • Asset Audits: Participate in asset audits as necessary to ensure accuracy and compliance.

  • Financial Software: Utilize popular financial software to streamline accounting processes and improve productivity.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.

  • 1-2 years of experience in accounting or a related field.

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

  • Excellent communication and analytical skills.

  • Familiarity with financial software and systems.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
