Head of Infrastructure Development Group

Job Summary: We are seeking an accomplished professional to lead our Infrastructure Development Group. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing large-scale projects and a strong background in infrastructure development.

About the Role:

The Head of Infrastructure Development Group will be responsible for overseeing the development of multiple concurrent projects. This includes setting measurable targets, tracking progress, and ensuring investments meet strategic goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute initiatives aligned with our mission and values.
  • Oversee portfolio management of multiple projects; set measurable targets and track progress to improve impact and ensure investments are meeting strategic goals.
  • Foster strong relationships with local communities, stakeholders, NGOs, and other partners.
  • Interface with leadership and collaborate with internal teams to advance initiatives.

Requirements:

  • 20+ years of experience in infrastructure development, with a focus on large-scale projects. Experience managing capex projects worth ₹100+ crore.
  • MBA from a premier institution (IIM or equivalent) and engineering degree from a top-tier institute (IIT or equivalent).
  • Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and engage effectively with stakeholders.
  • Understanding of the social development sector.

Skills:

Strong decision-making and problem-solving capabilities

Manage large-scale project budgets, ensuring cost control and financial tracking

Identify and mitigate project risks, including regulatory and compliance risks

Oversee projects from concept to completion, ensuring timely delivery and regulatory compliance

Lead cross-functional teams and engage effectively with stakeholders

Lead and mentor project management teams, fostering collaboration and high performance

Manage vendor contracts and ensure quality service delivery in projects

Ability to manage scope changes and adapt to evolving needs and regulations
