Job Title: Project Oversight Specialist

Description: We are seeking a highly skilled Project Oversight Specialist to oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of road and bridge projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Responsibilities:

  1. Project Planning: Develop and implement comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
  2. Site Monitoring: Regularly visit project sites to monitor progress, identify potential issues, and provide guidance to project teams.
  3. Progress Tracking: Monitor and track project progress, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed.
  4. Quality Control: Ensure that all projects meet the required quality standards, conducting regular audits and inspections as necessary.
  5. Resource Management: Manage and coordinate resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials, to ensure efficient project delivery.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
  • Experience: Minimum 5-7 years' experience in road/bridge construction projects.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of project budgeting, monitoring, and cost control, proficiency in MS Excel, MS Project/Primavera, and reporting systems.
  • Personal Qualities: Strong analytical and coordination skills, ability to work under pressure, and excellent communication skills.
