Accounting Professional - Real Estate Focus

We seek a seasoned accounting professional with expertise in the real estate sector to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 year of experience in accounting, specifically within the real estate industry.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Financial Statement Preparation and Analysis: Prepare accurate financial statements, adhering to industry standards.
  • Accounts Payable/Receivable Management: Oversee all aspects of accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely processing of invoices and payments.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting Support: Assist in preparing budgets and forecasts, providing valuable insights for financial planning.
  • General Ledger Maintenance: Maintain the general ledger, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
  • Compliance: Ensure adherence to financial regulations and standards specific to the real estate industry.
  • Property Management Support: Collaborate with property management teams to provide financial insights and support for property operations.
  • Software Utilization: Effectively use US/UK accounting software to manage financial data and generate reports.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Experience: 5+ years of accounting experience in the real estate industry.
  • Software Skills: Proficiency with US/UK accounting software (e.g., Yardi, Entrata).
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and generate meaningful reports.
  • Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all aspects of accounting work.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
