Investment Risk Manager

We seek an Investment Risk Manager to support the Chief Risk Officer in identifying, assessing, and mitigating various types of risks associated with investment portfolios.

The successful candidate will have 7-10 years of experience in risk management, preferably within a financial organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze potential risks and evaluate investment portfolios to assess exposure to various risk factors such as market, credit, operational, liquidity, and regulatory risks.
  • Implement risk mitigation strategies and collaborate with the investment team to ensure risk considerations are incorporated into portfolio decisions.
  • Contribute to change management initiatives and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and internal policies.
  • Prepare detailed risk reports and develop risk models and stress-testing scenarios.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field (Master's degree or professional certifications such as FRM, CFA is a plus).
  • Strong analytical skills, proficiency in risk management software, and excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to demonstrate understanding of investment markets and ex-ante portfolio risk management techniques.

Additional Skills:

  • Computer proficiency in MS Word and Excel.
  • Strong presentation skills and report writing capabilities.
  • Sound knowledge of key regulations and standards.
