Key Leadership Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Director of Technical Development to lead our technical direction and platform execution. This is a hands-on leadership role.

What you will do

  • Oversight of the architecture and development of our agentic AI platform
  • Design scalable, reliable backend infrastructure that powers automation workflows
  • Lead and mentor a high-performing engineering team
  • Collaborate with product, operations, and implementation teams to deliver into real-world environments
  • Drive technical execution across priorities and strategic initiatives
  • Operate with a startup mentality — high autonomy, high responsibility, and a bias toward shipping
  • Contribute to company-wide decisions as a core member of the leadership team

Requirements

  • 7–10 years of experience in backend, platform, or systems engineering
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field (Master's preferred or equivalent real-world experience)
  • Deep experience with Python or comparable backend languages in production environments
  • Proven track record designing and scaling complex systems and APIs
  • Experience leading engineering teams or projects with accountability and ownership
  • Familiarity with data pipelines, distributed systems, and workflow orchestration
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make architecture decisions under ambiguity
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills across technical and non-technical teams
  • Startup experience or mindset — adaptable, resourceful, and focused on outcomes
  • Preferred: background in automation, agent-based systems, or AI/ML infrastructure
