Educational Qualification
  • Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Chemistry or Diploma in Paints
Work Experience
  • 5-6 years of experience in the paint industry
  • Conducted training programmes for painters and contractors
  • Skilled with onsite painting/application
  • Good knowledge in textures and paint application
Key Responsibilities
  • Product validation and application technique development
  • Coordinate with development and marketing teams
  • Product validation at academy using different application tools and techniques
  • Help marketing team for new design development
  • Pattern and shade customization as per PS team requirement
  • Community engagement
  • Relationship management with 100-150 contractors/painters in the area for getting market information on new development and new product arrivals
  • Help TSM PP to run painter meets (new product demo)
  • Product training
  • Coordination with applicators and contractors for training sessions at the painter academies
  • Product training of TSMs/painters
  • Evolve the training tracker
  • SP painter training at academies as well as on-site training
  • Complaint handling and technical support
  • Technical inspection at customer sites, help TSM PS for complaint resolving on site (support for the channel sales teams)
  • Conduct all technical inspections like surface preparation inspection, painting progress inspection, and post-painting inspection for fresh and repainting sites
  • Help painters and PS team resolve complaints; give solutions for resolving on-site issues
  • Compensation on product failure/reworks to be approved by supervisor
  • Product feedback to be shared with R&D
  • Focus product establishment
  • Site sampling
  • Concept testing – sampling of new products with painter community for validation
  • Support to TSM PP for sampling
  • Demo of new techniques & product application in painter shop meets
  • Report of the trials to be shared with the respective ASM PA/PP
  • Reports
  • Trackers – Monthly & weekly basis
  • Product trial reports
  • Complaint site reports
  • Training tracker – on-site & academy
