Job Title: Key Maintenance Executive

Key Maintenance Executive is responsible for leading the mechanical maintenance function across various production and utility equipment in an automotive sheet metal manufacturing facility. The primary goal is to ensure maximum machine uptime, reliability, and cost efficiency.

Maintenance Planning & Execution

  • Develop and implement preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance schedules for all production and utility equipment.
  • Ensure smooth functioning of fabrication machines, welding lines, paint shops, assembly lines, and utility systems.

Team Leadership

  • Lead a team of engineers, supervisors, and technicians across multiple shifts.
  • Conduct skill upgradation programs for maintenance staff on new technologies.

Continuous Improvement & Cost Control

  • Apply TPM, Kaizen, 5S, and root cause analysis for reducing repetitive breakdowns.
  • Drive automation upgrades and energy-saving initiatives.

Safety & Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and maintain documentation for audits.
  • Enforce strict adherence to plant safety practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (Electrical exposure preferred).
  • 15–20 years of experience in mechanical maintenance in auto/auto-component or sheet metal industry, with at least 5+ years in a leadership role.
  • Hands-on exposure to robotic welding, paint shops, CNC fabrication equipment, and utilities.
