Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Coordinator to support the University Vice Chancellor in advancing academic initiatives, managing scholarly communications, and coordinating strategic projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Academic & Research Support:
    • Assist in organizing and executing scholarly events, research workshops, and symposia.
    • Prepare and edit academic reports, proposals, and publications.
  • Digital Engagement:
    • Manage the Vice Chancellor's online presence.
    • Develop and schedule content that highlights faculty achievements and university initiatives.
    • Monitor engagement metrics and optimize outreach strategies.
  • Technical Coordination:
    • Maintain digital archives of scholarly work and presentations.
    • Utilize tools like Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, and project management platforms.
    • Support virtual event logistics.
  • Financial Oversight:
    • Track expenditures and prepare financial summaries.
    • Liaise with the finance office to ensure compliance with university policies.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, Business Administration, Education, or a related field (Master's preferred).
  • 4+ years of relevant experience in academic administration or scholarly communications in premier institutions.
  • Proficiency in financial reporting and budgeting tools (e.g., Excel, SAP).
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms and analytics tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Sprout Social).
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience in higher education or research institutions of national/international importance.
  • Familiarity with grant writing and academic publishing.
  • Knowledge of digital marketing and SEO best practices.
