Automotive Expert Wanted

We are seeking a highly skilled Automotive Specialist to develop comprehensive diagnostic content for all automotive systems. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of vehicle systems, including engine management, electric & hybrid systems, brake control, infotainment, ADAS, transmission, HVAC, and airbags.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze vehicle communication bus logs using various analyzers
  • Create workflow or test sequences using IDEs like BDX or Grade-X
  • Evaluate OE diagnostic data, derive useful insights, and implement them in target testers
  • Validate implemented diagnostic content on-vehicle and create test reports
  • Benchmark and reverse-engineer aftersales & aftermarket diagnostic testers
  • Pursue continuous learning and self-development

Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of vehicle sub-systems and components
  • Proven ability to diagnose and troubleshoot vehicles
  • Ability to comprehend OE system description, service & repair manuals
  • Capacity to independently handle diagnostic testers

Essential Skills:

  • Deep knowledge of vehicle sub-systems and components

  • Comprehend OE system description, service & repair manuals
  • Independently handle diagnostic testers

Nice-to-Have Skills:

  • Familiarity with wiring diagrams and conventions
  • Knowledge of Bosch Aftermarket Diagnostic Tool - ESI [tronic]
  • Awareness of CAN, CAN FD, DoIP, UDS, J1939
  • Familiarity with BDX-Bosch Data Extension
  • Experience with analyzer & simulation tools from Vector or Samtec e.g., HSX, HS+ etc.
  • Diag Help Tool expertise
  • Handling of various OEM testers
