We are seeking a highly skilled Freelance SAS Modeler to join our team of professionals.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 6+ years of experience in statistical modeling and analysis, with expertise in SAS programming languages.
The successful candidate will be responsible for building, validating, and maintaining statistical/predictive models using SAS and Python.
Key responsibilities include:
- Modeling and Analytics: Build, validate, and maintain statistical/predictive models (SAS + Python).
- Migration Leadership: Architect and execute SAS → Python migration strategy.
- Code Translation: Convert SAS macros, procedures, and workflows into optimized Python equivalents
- Best Practices: Define modeling standards, workflows, and performance monitoring frameworks.
- Mentorship: Guide team members on Python adoption, coding practices, and analytics workflows.
Requirements:
- Expertise in SAS programming languages, including Base SAS, SAS/STAT, Enterprise Miner, Visual Analytics, PROC SQL, and macros.
- Proficiency in Python programming language, including pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn, matplotlib, seaborn, and PySpark.
- Strong statistical skills, including regression, forecasting, clustering, classification, A/B testing, and causal inference.
- Proven success leading large-scale SAS to Python transitions.
- Leadership skills, including ability to lead teams, influence stakeholders, and deliver high-impact results.
