As a Duty Manager at Accor, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the front office department. This includes liaising with various departments to coordinate tasks, ensuring team members adhere to HR policies, and welcoming and escorting hotel guests.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Authorizing courtesies for VIP guests
  • Maintaining accurate guest profiles and updating them regularly
  • Ensuring maximum room occupancy within agreed overbooking policies
  • Adhering to Accor guidelines for financial procedures
  • Checking outstanding in-house guests daily and maintaining records such as C forms and Reception/Information Log Books

You will also be responsible for ensuring the efficient handling of luggage, timely delivery of mail and messages, and effective check-in and check-out facilities. Additionally, you will deal with guest inquiries and complaints in a professional and tactful manner.

Leadership skills are essential for this role, with a focus on persuasion, motivation, and attaining organizational goals. You will also be responsible for conducting briefings for concierge and Front Office Assistants, logging security incidents and accidents, and communicating with the FOM.

Qualifications include:

  • Service-focused personality and leadership experience
  • Prior experience working with Opera or a related system
  • Proven ability to build and maintain good relationships with stakeholders
