Data Scientist Job Description

About our organization

We are seeking a skilled professional to take up the role of Data Scientist, who will be part of our global business process services partner. The candidate will provide transformational solutions and services spanning the customer lifecycle across diverse industries.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience in ML/AI development, particularly in ML, with a strong understanding of NLP, deep learning, and neural networks. Proficiency in Python and at least one of the Deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, Keras, or PyTorch is required.

Familiarity with NLP libraries such as NLTK, SpaCy and Huggingface transformers, working knowledge of Generative AI models and their architectures, and familiarity with at least one of the two cloud platforms - Azure or AWS are also essential.

Proficiency in exposing the solutions as API endpoints using ASGI frameworks such as FastAPI, experience with development tools such as Git and version control, deploying solutions using Docker and Kubernetes, and familiarity with MLOps tools like Dagster, Airflow, MLFlow etc. are necessary for this role.

A strong problem-solving skillset and ability to work independently and in a team environment is essential. Good communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders, are also required.
