Automation Framework Developer Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Automation Framework Developer to create robust test automation frameworks for both mobile and web applications.

The successful candidate will design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks using Playwright or Cypress. The role involves developing clean, maintainable automation scripts in JavaScript/TypeScript, integrating automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, etc., and conducting API and integration test automation using relevant tools.

About the Role

  • You will be working closely with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize requirements for automation framework development.
  • With a strong focus on quality and efficiency, you will ensure that the developed automation frameworks meet the required standards.
Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain robust automation frameworks using Playwright or Cypress.
  • Develop scalable mobile automation tests with Appium or native mobile tools.
  • Write clean, maintainable automation scripts in JavaScript/TypeScript.
  • Implement BDD scenarios using Cucumber/Gherkin if required.
  • Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, etc.
  • Conduct API and integration test automation using relevant tools.
Eligibility Criteria
  • 4+ years of experience building automation frameworks with JavaScript/TypeScript.
  • Hands-on expertise in Playwright and/or Cypress for end-to-end testing.
  • Solid experience in mobile automation with Appium or equivalent tool.
  • Strong understanding of testing methodologies: functional, regression, smoke, integration.
  • Proficient in writing BDD scenarios if tech stack includes Gherkin/Cucumber.
  • Experience integrating automation into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Solid knowledge of REST API testing tools like Postman, JMeter, etc.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work in Agile teams.
  • Problem-solving mindset and ability to work with minimal supervision.
